Summum Sapientiae Studium

Chi Rho Humans have been trying to "understand" since the beginning of rational thought, though most earnestly since the invention of the written word (a.k.a. learning that does not die). We seek understanding of life and death, heaven and hell, God and Devil. People live and die for understanding, though some would say that those that live do not die, and those that die were never alive.
Oddly enough, the desire to understand (and thus control) is a character flaw, but that is another conversation entirely...
